Privacy policy template

Owner review required before launch

This template reflects the website code reviewed on 8 October 2026. The owner must confirm the business details, providers, retention periods, analytics settings, transfer arrangements and applicable privacy rights before treating it as a final policy.

Who operates this website

This website presents SMR Softech’s website, mobile app, design and software services. Contact us at info@smrsoftech.com about this template or your information. Our listed address is Shop No. 5, KMC Compound, Nepali Chawl, Behram Baug Rd, Gautam Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400102, India. Review: confirm the legal business identity and privacy contact.

Project enquiries

The contact and footer forms collect your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, country, subject and project message. You may also provide a service choice and approximate budget. We use these details to review your request and respond. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information in your message.

Enquiries are saved in the website’s MySQL database. Notifications go to smrsoftech@gmail.com and info@smrsoftech.com through the configured SMTP mail service. Administrator-written replies, email delivery status and enquiry activity are also stored. Email and hosting providers process this information to operate those services.

Search, sessions and security

Blog searches put your search text and selected topic in the URL to find matching articles. The server receives your IP address and request headers. It may record requests in hosting logs; production log settings must be confirmed by the owner.

A necessary PHPSESSID session cookie supports form security, submission confirmation and administrator authentication. It is HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Lax and is Secure on HTTPS. Abuse controls store hashed IP addresses, request counts and timestamps. Honeypot fields help reject automated submissions. No CAPTCHA service is currently installed.

Optional Google Analytics

After you accept optional cookies, Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-R31ETPSZE4) measures visits to this site. Analytics can process page views, identifiers and technical information such as device, browser and approximate location. Google processes analytics information under its service terms and privacy policy.

The implementation does not intentionally send enquiry fields or your enquiry reference to Analytics. It strips query strings from page/referrer values and skips analytics on query-string pages. Advertising storage and personalization consent remain denied. Review: confirm the GA4 property’s enhanced-measurement features, data retention and other settings before launch.

Your cookie choices

Optional analytics and embedded services load only after acceptance, worldwide. Rejecting optional cookies leaves the enquiry forms and core pages available. A necessary localStorage record remembers your choice and its timestamp for up to 180 days, after which you are asked again. This preference record is not an analytics identifier.

Accepted analytics may set Google’s _ga cookies. The tag is configured with a 180-day cookie lifetime, subject to browser/provider behaviour. Use to change your choice. Rejecting after acceptance disables Analytics, removes accessible first-party analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop optional embeds. Third-party cookies may need to be removed using your browser’s controls.

Maps, videos and live chat

Google Maps on the Contact page, YouTube testimonial videos and Tawk.to live chat are optional external services. They are blocked until optional cookies are accepted. When used, their providers receive connection/browser information and may set cookies. Chat also processes information you choose to send, which may include your name, email and messages. The exact provider cookie names and retention are not defined in this site’s code.

Provider information: Google and YouTube privacy and Tawk.to privacy.

External links

WhatsApp, social sharing, email, telephone and live-project links connect to another service when you follow them. Those services handle your interaction under their own policies. Opening an external map link also contacts Google independently of the embedded map.

Administrator tools

The protected admin panel handles administrator credentials, content, image uploads, settings, enquiries, email drafts and explicit SMTP tests. Passwords are hashed, and integration secrets are encrypted in storage. The admin-triggered Antigravity/Gemini API processes editorial prompts and draft content; public enquiries are not automatically sent to that API.

Retention, access and deletion

Enquiries and email history remain in the database until an administrator deletes them; deletion also removes linked enquiry emails and activity records. This code does not define a general customer-data retention schedule. Review: specify your actual retention periods, backup deletion process, hosting/mail provider retention and GA4 retention settings.

Contact info@smrsoftech.com to ask about access, correction or deletion of information you provided. We may need to verify a request before acting. Review: confirm the rights and response process applicable to the people and countries you serve.

International processing and legal grounds

Hosting, email, Google and Tawk.to services may process information in other countries. Review: identify your contracted providers, processing locations, applicable legal grounds and transfer safeguards. These cannot be established from the website code alone.
